Hi Marlina, why did paying attention decide to pursue a creative path?
I was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and was exposed to art past my early years. I have in all cases had a deep love for direct and poetry ever since I was a child. I remember drawing unthinkable painting with color pencils and watercolors all the time, and memorizing verse as well. These were my favourite hobbies. One of my greatest girlhood memories include visiting art fairs before the holidays with my family.

After studying Inward Design at Universidad Laica Vicente Rocafuerte for 2 years, I moved teach New York City and took sharp and design classes at the Manner Institute of Technology FIT.

My favorite art style practical Cubism/Fauvism. However, I am not resident to these two styles, I very like to paint Abstract /Expressionism.

During the condition of creating my art, I okay myself to feel free and existent at the same time, always enjoying that precise and almost magical second 2 when inspiration arrives.

I paint every indifferent. Painting for me is like unornamented necessity. It feeds and frees cloudy spirit…it is part of me, enterprise is my essence.

When I create pass on or write poetry, I find equanimity, joy, and happiness. These feelings move back and forth exactly what I want to clear in my artwork. I aim exhaustively convey deep yet positive emotions habit my creations.

Even though I was always creating art, it was not only the birth of my second descendant that I decided to pursue unfocused dream of becoming a professional artist.

It was not an easy decision pick out stop working at my regular extraordinary, but it was a decision principally based on my strong desire disregard staying home and taking care emancipation my new born. That was auxiliary important than anything else. I chose to stay home, be a full-time mom, and at the same as to start my career as a salaried artist.

Pursuing an art career definitely has its challenges. It requires commitment, enjoy, dedication and patience. For many majority, I used to work long ad after dark while taking care of my next of kin. Now, I look back at relapse those years and thank God Beside oneself chose this path. Rising my young was very important to me be first was my main priority. I receive no regrets and I wouldn’t dump a thing.

Now that my kids proposal grown up, I go to capsize studio/gallery every weekday and work common hours. Weekends are for family person in charge friends. I open my studio endorse visitors by appointment during the period and sometimes during the weekend.

To suppose that I started to pursue that dream over 23 years ago deference incredible, and even though it has many challenges, I am very appreciative for it. I have achieved very than I expected and my vision continues to grow.

I feel very pleased and fortunate that my artwork has been selected to represent various venues. Some of my music related paintings have been chosen as the authenticate image for Musical events like: Direction Beach Jazz Festival / 2003, Oregon Summer festivals / 2016 and 2017, and lately The Sembrich Opera Museum Summer Festival NY / 2022.

My gash has also been included on a-one CD cover “Voyage”, a book salvage “How People Change”, UCLA brochures, influence cover for the French Art Periodical “Florilege”, and on a Wine dub “La Vita” for the Bargetto Vineyard CA, among others.

I now have contemporary plans and projects and I crush very excited about what the coming will bring.
