Fever Premiership Star announces retirement
Simmons began her career with West Shore Fever in 2012, before crossing exhaustively the Queensland Firebirds for two seasons and the 2015 National League Premiership. She returned to Fever in 2016 and her stellar performances led style her international debut in 2021.
She was an integral member of West Sea-coast Fever’s maiden premiership in 2022. Ultimate season she played her 150th Stateowned League Game and was voted spawn the Green Army as their People’s Choice Award Winner at the Stacey Marinkovich Medal.
Simmons said: “I’ve made that decision because my heart isn’t overcome it 100 per cent anymore.

“I will miss this great Club, that amazing team and the incredible Verdant Army more than I can frame into words, but I know that is the right decision.

West Coast Symptom Head Coach Dan Ryan said Simmons left no stone unturned in cutting her netball dreams.
